MSc "Exercise & Health"

CATEGORIES AND NUMBER OF ADMITTED STUDENTS

In the MSc program “Exercise & Health”, graduates of Higher Education Institutions (Universities and Technological Educational Institutes) in Greece, as well as graduates of recognized equivalent institutions abroad (according to paragraph 1, article 4 of Law 3685/2008), are admitted, provided they meet the necessary requirements for the successful attendance of the courses and hold degrees in disciplines relevant to the subject of the program.

The MSc program “Exercise and Health” admits thirty (30) students per academic year and is planned to employ a total of sixty (60) instructors, at least 60% of whom are from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and 40% from Universities and Research Centers in Greece and abroad. This corresponds to a ratio of two (2) instructors per student.

It is noted that the maximum number of postgraduate students in MSc programs of the Medical School is approximately 3,190 per year, compared to approximately 2,157 undergraduate students per year and 572 faculty members of the Medical School of NKUA.
